Authentic Tribal Desert Music from Siwa: The Siwan Language is unique it combines Berber, Semitic, Roman and recently Arabic their desert culture and folklore is hundreds of generations old.
The songs are mainly about love, romance, heartbreak and old stories of such subject matter.
The band was really surprised when they realized they were going to be recorded in a studio they thought we would record them during a live performance.
Omar Adham of Mazag Productions got all the band members to singe a release for the music for a one time fee. We ripped the tracks in about 14 hrs at Omar's Studio In Adham Compound Hotel. The band returned to Siwa waiting for the release of their cultures first album.
Unfortunately we have not yet released a official copies of the session. We have the Masters and will release them in the coming future for now please enjoy these Raw un-mastered Tracks in MP3 format. Recorded in June 2002.
