Full Day Itinerary:
-
Pick up at hotel 7:30 Depart Hotel by maximum 8:00. Traveling on
asphalt towards al El Barakan.
-
9:00 leaving the asphalt traveling for 5 km then stopping for Desert
orientation, safety and Introduction; covering basic wild life, plant life
and geological formations of the specific areas being visited.
-
10:00 begin decent into the Qattara Depression traveling thorough
varied surfaces including sand, pebbles and rock. (Photo Stop great vista)
-
11:00 stopping at large Petrified Forest with large specimens of
petrified wood small description of the wood and how it arrived at this
location.

Traveling across more rugged terrain to the Moghra well arriving
there by 12:00 for a historic & geological description of the well.
-
12:30 arriving at the uninhabited oasis and wild life sanctuary of
El- Moghra for Lunch and viewing a varied array of desert life from birds,
camels and plants. Plus small description at the life and animals of the
oasis. The Shaheen falcons (fastest bird in the world) are often seen
hunting or searching for prey at the oasis.

14:00 depart oasis for the sand dunes deeper in the Qattara
Depression Arriving by 15:00 for a great
photo stop of endless sand dunes.

16:30 depart dunes for Alamain pass out of the depression stopping at
Humaymat Hill Site of the most ferocious battles of Alamain a magnificent
desert vista on the edge of Qattara.

Arrival at hotel 1 hour later. END OF TRIP.
Included:

Transport in fully equipped modern Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4s
front facing seats, first aid kits, GPS navigation, C.B. & satellite
communication, sand mats and other essentials including 40litres extra
fresh water for washing up, plus each car will be equipped with a medium
size ice box. (4à6
persons per car)

Bedouin
set up and tea for lunch.

Certified desert guide and medic during every trip plus
detailed descriptions of all the areas visited

Unlimited mineral water and 2 juice per person, cold
lunchbox with sandwiches and fruits.
Not included:

All the areas we visit are environmental and geological protectorates
it is illegal to remove any stone or other objects from any of the areas we
visit (please be advised that in the desert “You can take only photos and
leave only foot prints”)

All descriptions are in English or Arabic other languages will
require a translator.

Notes:

Clients should bring,
sunglasses, sun cream, hat, and should wear running shoes or like, those
who may fancy swimming in the salt lake should bring there own towel

Clients should note that in
some areas we will visit in the depression is often twice as windy as the
north coast
-
Clients with previous heart
conditions, allergies, asthmatics and any serious previous spinal surgery
must inform Sahara adventure company 48hrs in advance
-
Children of any age are
welcome child seat restraint must be requested 48hrs in advance.

Toilet facilities are not
available clients are required to be discreet in using the nature.

All clients will be required
to singe a liability waiver form.
For
disabled and wheel chair clients we have the special vehicle for them at an
extra supplement.
